Overview

The Deck Hand is revolutionizing the way contractors handle large drill pipe. The Deck Hand uses an excavator's hydraulics to safely and efficiently load or unload drill pipe from a trailor, pipe rack, or from a drill rig. The Deck Hand allows for easy installation and maintenance and will provide numerous benefits such as lowering cost and improving safety.

Easy Installation

The Deck Hand can be easily installed and can accommodate any manufacturer's mid to large sized excavator. This involves:

1. Applying the proper interchangeable pin bracket to The Deck Hand
2. Quick coupling of two auxillary hydraulic hoses (pressure hose and case drain hose) and
3. Change the operator's control handles. This is done by simply unscrewing the manufacturer's control handles and screwing on The Deck Hand's control handles. Add power to the power control handles and attachment by simply clipping the positive and negative lead to batteries and you're ready to go!

1. The Deck Hand does not require any labor assistance while handling drill pipe.
2. Little maintenance required (grease).
3. Rotates all day long continuously in either direction.
4. Will tilt 0 to 20 degrees (angle can be adjusted to greater degree by customer request.
5. Unlike traditional pipe handling (sling and calipers), The Deck Hand can handle drill pipe from any place on the tube.
6. If you're using an excavator with quick connect bucket an operator can disconnet and connect from bucket to The Deck Hand or from The Deck Hand to bucket in a matter of seconds.
